Six-day resolution reintroduced in the House

Reps. Sam Graves (R-MO) and Gerry Connolly (D-VA) have reintroduced their resolution to preserve six-day mail delivery, H.Res. 15.

The resolution is identical to previous versions that have been introduced at the beginning of every Congress since 2009: “Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of its 6-day mail delivery service.”

In the 114th Congress, the bipartisan resolution wound up garnering majority support, with 238 co-sponsors.
